Hi Graham and others
The University of Auckland Electro-Engineering and Science Depts use OASIS which is an on-line source of questions and immediate feed-back. In 2010 we have Terry Devere writing and coding questions suitable for Yrs 12 and 13 Physics.
You should contact Chris Smaill at the School of Engineering to express interest.
This is a very good system that gives students practice at applying physics in context and with instant feed-back.
Thanks

Hi there,
While on the topic of on line assignments and learning.. Has anyone tried
Live-wire Learning? It seems to offer a service to students and schools
with self marked on-line assignments together with notes etc. Individual
kids pay $30 for the year or school pay $200 for a block of 10 kids.
The concept appeals to me - computer marked assignments, immediate feedback,
result available to the teacher (I think) - sounds a bit like what we were
doing with class server but I hope easier for all being totally web based.
I am interested to hear from anyone using it with kids and how they are
finding it.
