level 1 2011

Are any of you looking at the Science matrix for level 1 and the (still)
draft standards on offer and wondering what sort of course(s) you will be
offering next year? With all the paperwork associated with internal
assessment and the total lack of exemplar material as yet, we at Kerikeri
are looking at constructing our General, Biological and Physical Science
courses from various mixes of the externally assessed standards. These at
least have old standards that are very similar to the new drafts and lots
of past papers for reference. We are also continuing for a year with our
unit standard based internally assessed course as the unit standards don't
expire until Dec 2011.
What are the rest of you intending to do?
