Hi everyone, not sure if any of you have noticed this.

The level 1 physics standard on waves states:

"reflection at a plane surface, reflection and refraction at a straight boundary"

reflection is mentioned in two contexts. I interpret the second part as meaning reflection and refraction of wavefronts rather than rays. i.e. ripple tanks etc.

Can anyone clarify this?

Thanks, ........ Francis
